Is there any better way to experience a place than through its food? On this tour, you’ll discover Sicily with your taste buds. From Modica’s famous chocolate to late night rum tastings, you may taste a side of Sicily you hadn’t expected. Taste wine and enjoy lunch at local producers and indulge in outstanding meals at two 2-star Michelin restaurants in Ibla-Ragusa.

You’ll be introduced to 7 different restaurants over the tour and stay in a boutique hotel in Modica, with an amazing view of San Giorgio cathedral. There’s opportunity for trekking to work off some of those calories not to mention guided tours of Modica, Ibla and Noto. Book in April and you will be there for the procession of Modica’s patron saint San Giorgio. If you’ve never been to Sicily, it’s time to take a bite.

Price all-inclusive, with meals, accommodation, minibus, activities, guide, the flight is not included  

  • Guided tour with minicoach and driver;
  • Transfers between Catania/Comiso airports and hotel, and back;
  • Welcoming and full assistance during the tour by our bilingual tour leader;

Helpful pre-trip info

Visa: If you are a EU passport holder, you will not require a visa to travel on this tour. For any other nationalities please check with your local embassy.
Passport: This should be valid for at least six months after you have returned home from your trip. For non-EUs you should also have several blank.
Travel insurance: Travel insurance should be as much a part of your travel preparation as packing your camera, sunglasses and passport!
If you need a visa to travel on your tour the embassy will not issue your visa unless you have a sufficient travel insurance policy. If your personal belongings are lost or stolen, or you require healthcare while travelling, you will not be covered by Sicily That’s Amore. Travel insurance is therefore highly recommended for all clients whilst on a tour organised by Sicily That’s Amore.

Transport: Transportation by top of the range Mercedes, Renault or Fiat minicoach with air-conditioning.
Room-sharing: Room on a double occupancy rate, with private bathroom and breakfast. Possibility of single room upon request, with additional cost. For triple room, please contact us.
Wifi: All accommodation will provide wifi.
Restaurant: Please inform us if you have any allergies or special diet requests, we will try to allow for all of them.
Daily timetable: Example of timetable: breakfast at the hotel, departure between 9am and 9.30am, lunch*, back at the hotel around 5pm (except on full day excursion), dinner*.
*Most meals will be part of the visits and included in the package.
Free-time: You will have some free time during the day, when you can choose a selection of optional activities.

Fitness level: The physical activities proposed are suitable for people used to walking regularly.
